Hotel Accommodation
For the convenience of foreign delegates to APERA 2008, the Organiser has appointed Orient Explorer (S) Pte Ltd as the official travel agent to assist delegates in their hotel and travel arrangements. Orient Explorer (S) Pte Ltd, will coordinate reservations of a wide-range of accommodation options on behalf of participants. Its contact details are:

You may however choose to book your own hotel rooms yourself. Please note that when booking hotel accommodations where rates are quoted in Singapore dollars, you may be subject to a 10% service charge plus 7% Goods and Services Tax. Whether you are booking through Orient Explorer(S) Pte Ltd or on your own, we strongly urge those who haven't already found a hotel to make reservations quickly.
The APERA Conference 2008 and Convenors do not in any way warrant or represent the accommodations and travel agent contained herein. Hence they will not be liable for any losses, expenses, damages or injuries arising from or in connection with the services, products, or information obtained from the travel agent.
Shuttle Transfer to Conference Site
There will be two-way shuttle transfers provided (hotel/conference site/hotel) during the conference days from 26 to 28 November 2008. This shuttle service is complimentary for delegates who book their accommodation directly with the official travel agent, Orient Explorer (S) Pte Ltd.
Delegates who wish to make their own hotel arrangements and take the shuttle transfer will be charged as follows:
- One-way transfer: S$7.00 nett per person per way
- Roundtrip transfer: S$12.00 nett per person
